Andheri is one of Mumbai's largest and busiest suburbs, divided by the Western Railway line into Andheri East and Andheri West. Jogeshwari, Vile Parle and the international airport border it.

The Western Express Highway, suburban rail and metro lines make it one of the best-connected parts of the city. Business districts such as SEEPZ and MIDC Andheri, along with schools, hospitals and malls, are all close at hand.

Housing is mostly redevelopment towers and compact new projects on small land parcels. Mahindra Vicino, a completed project of 161 homes on Suren Road off the highway, is typical of new supply in Andheri East.
