Kharadi is a major IT and residential hub in east Pune, along Nagar Road between Viman Nagar and Wagholi. EON IT Park and other large office campuses have turned it into one of the city's busiest employment centres.

Nagar Road connects Kharadi to Pune airport and the city centre, and the bypass links it to Hadapsar and Magarpatta. Schools, hospitals and malls are well established, and the adjoining Wagholi stretch offers more affordable options.

Housing ranges from compact studios to large gated townships aimed at IT professionals. Gera World of Joy, a completed project on Chokhi Dhani Road in the Kharadi–Wagholi belt, still has studios on offer.
