Shankarpally is a town on the western edge of the Hyderabad metropolitan area, beyond Kokapet, Mokila and Tellapur. It is still semi-rural in character, but development has been moving steadily outward from the Financial District.

Shankarpally has its own railway station, and roads lead east through Mokila and Kokapet to the Outer Ring Road and the IT districts. Buyers should check commute times on a site visit, as the town sits well beyond the core corridor.
